Place one firelighter teabag at the base of the fire. Build a small stack of dry kindling above it, with gaps for airflow. Light the paper with a single match and leave it to work. For stoves, keep the air vents open until the kindling catches properly, then adjust as normal. For BBQs, leave the lid open and let the coals come up to heat before you start cooking.
